Underneath the Surface: Human Trafficking

In today's society, it's hard for people to grasp the fact that slavery still exists. Although it's not always seen on the surface, modern slavery is all around us. The U.S. State Department estimates 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked internationally each year. This includes 14,500 to 17,500 people trafficked into the U.S. every year.
